Each of these beers have elements of ales and lagers, creating a hybrid style. For some, it's a different temperature or fermentation time than expected for its yeast that gives the beer elements of both styles. For others, there are common taste elements but versions can be made as either a lager or an ale. Finally, there are the experimental beers. These beers defy style classification both from the yeasts that they use, and the aging and blending processes that are utilized. Each of these factors helps create added layers of flavor and character unique to these beers alone.
