Peach Cobbler

Peach Cobbler

Directions

  1. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add egg, vanilla and Samuel Adams® Pale Ale. Stir until the dough clings together. Knead gently 8 strokes. Cover and allow to sit while you prepare fruit. Roll or pat dough 3/4 inch thick and cut into rounds. Generously butter an 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and zest, set aside. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice peaches thickly and arrange in dish, cover with berries. Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the fruit and drizzle with the Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat®. Top with biscuits and dust lightly with sugar. Bake on shelf in lower half of oven until fruit is bubbly and biscuits are golden. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
