Boston Brewery FAQs
How much does a tour cost?
We do not charge for admission to the Boston Brewery, but that being said, we do ask for a small charitable donation upon your arrival to some awesome local charities we support.
How do you get to the Boston Brewery?
We are a two block walk from the Stony Brook stop on the Orange line, and our address is 30 Germania Street, in Boston for your GPS.
Do we have parking at the Boston Brewery?
We do have limited parking, but whenever possible we always recommend taking the T here, since we are two blocks away from the Stony Brook stop on the Orange Line.
How long is the tour?
The tour is approximately an hour long, with 30 minutes learning about the ingredients in our beer and brewing process, and the other 30 minutes spent in a tasting room, sampling 3 different styles of our award winning Samuel Adams craft beer.
Can someone under the age of 21 go on a tour?
Yes, but they will not be able to participate in the tasting portion of the tour. Root beer is available for those not looking to drink. However, you must be 21+ with a valid ID to participate in our Morning Mash In Tours.
Do you serve food/is there a bar on-site?
We do not serve food at the Boston Brewery, but there are a couple local establishments nearby. Ula Café and Bella Luna Restaurant are both in the same complex, and Doyles Café is a 0.7 mile walk or drive away. We do serve pints, flights, and tasters right outside our Boston Brewery in our Beer Garden! Check the Brewery Tours page for hours and more information.
Do you offer private tours?
Yes for larger groups (20 or more). Groups of more than 20 people may call (617) 368-5256 to schedule a private tour. Private tours are available Monday-Thursday at 3:30 or 4:00.
Do you rent space for private events?
We are not a venue location and do not rent out our Boston Brewery space for private functions. However, we can schedule private tours Monday-Thursday. For more on private tours only please call 617-368-5256.
Is there anything else to do in Jamaica Plain?
There is the Arboretum and Jamaica Pond, as well as all of the restaurants and shops on Centre street. For more info, click here.
Can you reserve tickets for tours?
We have a variety of specialty tours that you can reserve tickets for, which you can learn more about on our Brewery Tours page. We do not take reservations for our regular tours, since they are all first come first serve, but if you would like a private tour for a party of 20 or more, we hold them Monday – Thursday at 3:30, 4, and 4:30 PM. If you would like to schedule one, please call 617-368-5256.
