Like most guys, Jim Koch shies away from recipes that have a lot of steps. Instead, he substitutes beer for other ingredients since the right brew will already have a nice "spice package" perfect to use as a grilling marinade or an ingredient in another dish. Show us how you can incorporate Samuel Adams Boston Lager as an ingredient in your favorite grilling recipe.
GRAND PRIZE: One (1) Ultimate BBQ for Labor Day 2009. Prize will include grill and other essential items for the ultimate BBQ for 100 people. Approximate Retail Value: $2500.00.
All entries must be comprised of five or less ingredients including Jim's favorite brew, Samuel Adams Boston Lager. One lucky at-home chef, who submits the best recipe, will win the ultimate backyard cook-out for Labor Day.
All entries must include the recipe name, list of ingredients with exact U.S. measurements, complete preparation instructions/method, grilling items needed, timing, temperature, number of servings, and any other relevant information needed to prepare the recipe.
The entries will be narrowed down to 10 finalists and will be tasted and judged by Jim Koch and Chef David Burke to select the winning recipe.
