Now that I’ve just applied for one of your open positions, when can I expect to hear back from you?

Thanks for your application. We are fortunate to have a high volume of qualified craft beer enthusiasts who apply to all of our open positions (all the free beer helps). Our Recruiting team carefully reviews each resume submitted. As you can imagine, this can take some time. If your qualifications match the role you’ve applied for, or if we think you’d be a strong candidate for another potential opportunity, we will reach out to you...

I really want to work for Boston Beer, but the job that I’m interested in is not currently posted. What should I do?

We are always looking for smart, motivated, hardworking people who love beer and who want to join our team! If the job you want is not currently open, fear not. You can stay in the loop by signing up for our job alerts on our careers website – you’ll be the first to know about new opportunities that are posted.

What if I have a problem submitting my application?

Don’t give up, technology can sometimes have glitches. Please first try reapplying on a different internet browser. If that still doesn’t work, you can email us at jobs@bostonbeer.com.

How do I know that you’ve actually received my application?

You should receive an email from Human Resources that says we have your application. Again, be patient. We review all resumes carefully and have a high volume of applicants, so it can take a little time.

I think something went wrong when I applied because I didn’t complete a PI Survey and received an error message. Will I still be considered?

No worries, it’s likely that a pop-up blocker prevented you from completing the PI Survey. If we choose to move forward with your application, the Recruiting team will reach out directly to send it to you.

What is the best way to stay in-the-know about happenings at Boston Beer?

We’re so happy you asked… follow us @BostonBeerCareers on Instagram, on LinkedIn, or sign up for our newsletter. You can also be the first to know about new job opportunities by signing up for our job alerts on our careers website.

I just got an email from the Recruiting team asking me to complete a HireVue. What is HireVue and how do you use it in the interview process?

HireVue is a one-way digital interview platform, similar to Skype, that we use for some of our Sales and other entry-level positions as an additional tool when evaluating applications. This program gives you the opportunity to learn more about The Boston Beer Company and our culture, and also enables us to get to know you better. We understand that a one-way interview may feel a little awkward, but just be yourself and know that it’s only one piece of your application.

Do I need to be 21+ to apply for a position at Boston Beer?

You do not need to be 21+ to be considered for a position with us, though you do need to be 21 to enjoy the beer!

Do you offer internships?

From time to time, we may have one-off internship opportunities available in our Boston office or breweries. However, we do not have any formal summer or seasonal internship programs in place.

That being said, we are always looking for hardworking, creative and motivated craft beer lovers. When we do have internship opportunities available, we post them on our careers website.
