Think you can out-hoist the World's Strongest Man? This fall, Sam Adams invites you to participate in our "Hoist Like a Strongman" challenge, where stein hoisters across the country will compete for ultimate bragging rights. The top three champions will earn a trip to the Great American Beer Festival, happening October 12-14, in Denver to face off against the one and only Mitchell Hooper!
Mitchell Hooper never lets his steins down—even when chatting, snacking, or... taking care of business! Think you can beat his time? There's only one way to find out. Accept the challenge and join the ranks of stein hoisting legends. Prost!
1. Find a Participating Bar
- Scroll down to see the full list of bars and restaurants hosting Stein Hoisting events near you.
2. Join the Contest
- Attend a Stein Hoisting event at one or more locations from August 23rd and October 6th.
- Grab a full stein of Sam Adams Octoberfest and see how long you can hold it up. Strength and stamina will be your best friends!
3. Win Big
- The longest times from each location will be entered into our national leaderboard.
- The top three competitors nationwide will win an unforgettable trip to the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, happening October 12-14, , where you'll get the chance to compete head-to-head against Mitchell Hooper himself!
